Emily is a director and producer of documentary and advertising films at Bombay Arthouse (BAh). She previously worked as a photographer with companies such as Google, Apple and Facebook in New York City, and she began her work in Mumbai as a media specialist for social businesses. She was an Assistant Director in the Bollywood film industry before she co-founded BAh.

In the past, she also worked in the sectors of humanitarian assistance, human rights protection and socioeconomic development for over five years in countries such as Ghana, India and the United States.
